A: To ensure effective drug delivery, the Dupel device has an alarm that will discontinue current delivery if a poor connection is detected along the current pathway. Several factors can improve the current flow, these include proper skin preparation, sufficiently hydrated skin, slow ramping up of the current intensity, and good adherence of the electrodes.
